为探析阿多诺与贝尔的现代艺术观作为现代文化的重要理论资源,其对中国现代文化建构的理论价值,对二者进行比较分析。研究结果表明:现代艺术在阿多诺时代与贝尔时代,其特征、体裁、表现风格及旨趣等存在着一定的差异,他们对现代艺术有不同的理论评判和价值取向,形成两种对立的现代艺术观。阿多诺对现代艺术持肯定态度,揭示了现代艺术所具有的解放功能,贝尔对现代艺术持否定态度,揭示了其虚无主义性质。本文旨在比较二者之间的差异,揭示其理论的独特贡献及偏颇,以期对构建中国现代文化提供借鉴和启示。

The paper makes a comparative analysis of the important role that Adorno's and Bell's modern art views,the important theoretical resources of modern culture,paly in the construction of modern Chinese culture.The study shows that modern art in Adorno's era is different from that in Bell's era in its characteristics,genre,expression style and purport.Adorno and Bell had different theoretical judgments and value orientations on modern art,forming two opposing views of modern art.Adorno held a positive attitude towards modern art,revealing its liberating function,while Bell had a negative one,revealing its nihilistic nature.The paper aims to expound the contributions and bias of the two theories,in expectation of providing reference and enlightenment for the construction of modern Chinese culture.
